That's the setup I was thinking of too. Looks pretty ghetto, but in theory it should work.

I've always liked the LT1 Intake design with its simplicity and a vague resemblance to an old school Rochester Fuel Injection setup, but the remote mount thermostat with all the hoses and pipe fittings and delete plates and such are what just don't do it for me. In terms of upper end horsepower, this has way more potential than a stock TPI intake, and can be had for a lot less than a Mini Ram of similar design.

I guess I've never seen one installed, got any pics? I thought about this before buying my new hood, I am going Stealth Ram now.

got an lt1 intake on my 86.

common remark between un-informed spectators at cruise nights is ''its just a stock motor'' :nuts:

btw, it ran super with the lt1 intake on 355 c.i. ...present 409 c.i. (400 block+ .040 punch) under the same heads and intake has a rep already , c6's won't even try

That looks a lot better than most installs I've seen. Any pics of all the hoses and the remote mount thermostat?

Cool! Tell us more about your selection of the LT1 intake...mods...track times...dyno...tuning issues...etc. etc. etc.

Kicking a C6 is a big deal...so you must really have something sweet happening here.
