Sounds like a clutch neutral safety switch. It wont let you start the car unless the clutch is fully depressed.
Magicians Wanted
I was wondering if any knew any tricks to putting in a new clutch position switch. I have been playing with mine for weeks and I cant get my hands or tools anywhere near where it has to go. I got the old one out thanks to gravity, but putting the new on in is a different story. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
