G'day folks, I recently bought a set of 15x7 Rallye rims for my '68, they look fine but it's become apparent fairly quickly they won't be able to provide the traction required to stop the ole '427 breaking into wheelspin at every set of lights. That is, when I don't want them to. ;)

I've taken a bit of a look around for alternative wheels and like the look of the AR TTOs...

American Racings application listing gives the recommended size as 17x8, but can I fit anything larger under the rear end without modifying the suspension?

Thanks for your assistance!

I'm running 17x9 with a 4" backspace on the rear of Ol' Red. Nothing else changed. with 295/40 tires (11-1/2 on the ground), still no problem with rubbing anywhere, but it still won't "stick". Probably a good thing- :D
