I own a 1966 roadster corvette and the 40 year old leafspring is starting to wear out. I am planning on buying a new leafspring and bushings from Ecklers but when i called them today they said that the parts dont come with instructions for instalation. I am hoping that you guys could help me out with some step by step instructions and diagrams, if so that would be great.

First, Welcome to DC. I'm sure that one of the C2 guys will chime in shortly. If not, I will appily look up the specs after the weekend of racing to help you out

This How To article from Corvette Fever should give you a lot of help. Your C2 suspension is the same as the C3 they show in the article.

As a side note, how did you conclude that the leaf spring was bad?

Also, are you planning to replace or repair anything else in the rear while you're there (ie, trailing arm bushings, U joints, bearings, etc)?

Good luck!

Steven
