OK, so I've been running the 670-15 bias ply tires on my '64 for the last 10 years while I've been doing the NCRS judging thing.

Now it's time to have some fun with this car.

I want to put on a set of radials, but the anal retentiveness in me says that I still want to keep as close as possible to the original look.

What size and make of radials are available that will fit the original type knock-off wheels, give me about the same diameter (speedo calibration), have about the same size white wall, and will not hit the fenders or frame at full lock.

Does such a tire exist or am I looking for a ghost??

I have Goodyear Integrity tires on three of my cars. My 64 coupe has 205-70/15 blackwalls with knock offs and looks good. I checked the speedo against my 98 and was about 1MPH slow. The 205-75/15 would be a little closer to original size tire or if you want a little wider tire go with the 215-70/15. All three sizes will fit without a problem. If you want the white wall, it measures 3/4" width. Joe
