New issue has an interesting comparison of 2011 models of Camaro (312 hp), Challenger (305 hp), Mustang (305 hp) and Hyundai Genesis 3.8 (306 hp).
Performance summary:

Camaro 0-60/6.1 sec.....1/4 mi/14.5 sec @ 98.2 mph
Challenger 0-60/6.4 sec....1/4 mi/14.8 sec @ 94.8 mph
Mustang 0-60/6.2 sec.....1/4 mi/14.5 sec @ 97.3 mph
Genesis 0-60/5.8 sec......1/4 mi/14.2 sec @ 100.4 mph

Looks like the Americans have some work to do. :D

So I'm assuming they tested the Genesis 3.8 Track, which starts at over $30,000. I wonder if the standard 3.8 (starting at $25k) puts up similar numbers. For $30+, they better compare it to a Mustang GT or 1SS Camaro in a similar price range.

It was a Track. The prices are pretty comparable, but the Hyundai was the most expensive.
As tested:
Camaro $25170
Challenger $32595
Mustang $30060
Hyundai $33190

They ranked the cars in this order:
1. Mustang
2. Hyundai
3. Challenger
4. Camaro

Wow, looks like a loaded V6 Mustang against lightly-optioned competition. I'm not surprised the Mustang got the nod. Solid performance, with $7500 in options.

Difference in base price and price as tested (approx):
Camaro $4000
Challenger $7000
Mustang $7000
Hyundai $5500

They couldn't get a Camaro in time for the test from Chevrolet, so they rented a Hertz car. Probably explains the more bare-bones version.
