Looks like I will be moving to the Tempe AZ area in few weeks. Will be trailering the Corvette there and hoping for some insight, tips on the area and clubs or meets. Thanks for your assistance and looking forward to the trip from the East.

Good Drag racing can be found in Arizona

Look online for car clubs

The weather is Sunny most of the Year,

You can Forget about buying anymore Jackets lol

Because you really don't need em there

I live in California which is a cooler Climate

And I mountain bike all year long, even in the higher elevations In a T-shirt

Think Hot Hot Hot in the summer , but its very Low Humidity

If you like 4X trucks you'll like arizona/arizonian's

Car culture is big,

Las Vegas to the north 4hrs ??? Something like that

Alot of Boating/fishing Available

You are in for a Major culture change tho

I have a brother in Chandler - Moving to Scottsdale and another in Mesa.
You are in for an environmental shock.
No clouds.
Hot as hell in the sun during summer. Beautiful in Winter
Occasional dust storms
Scorpions and Black Widow spiders.

You can dry your laundry outside in 10 minutes.
Sun tea is great.

There is tons to do around ASU.

If you want to cool off, the mountains are not too far away for a weekend trip.

I think It's really beautiful and would move there if they didn't always have concerns about water.

I've lived in the western part of the state since I was a teen; originally from Long Island, NY...it is a different culture here in AZ, but you're gona love living here.....

There is great Vette driving weather all year round. The roads, for the most part, are good and there are plenty of classic steel on them.Tempe is very nice, but the Scottsdale area of Phoenix Metro is simply beautiful.

Here's to your soon to be new home....

Question: What is Arizona like? Seems many are headed out there lately and it sounds nice.

Thanks for the info everyone.
Looking forward to the trip. Need a change and this looks like an ideal move.
Seems like a good area for year round use of the corvette which for me is ideal along with decent economy, warmer weather.

These vehicles however are generally classified as either a panel van or a coach built The A-Class motorhome is one that starts with a commercial frame, running gear, power unit, seats, instrumentation, but without the vehicle cab. This configuration is commonly referred to as a chassis cowl, this meaning that the entire body can be constructed as an integral unit, in which the living area completely embraces the driving cockpit.

Generally speaking a European A-Class motorhome can be as costly as the much larger and often richer in functionality, US style RV
