Got a phone call from the Chevy dealership today, they finally have a VIN for my Vette!:D :D :D

The dealer said it rolled off the assembly line on May 7th, and that it is one of the last '07's to be produced.

So now, I'm just waiting the long two weeks for everything to be finalized and shipped out to Denver!!!:partyon:

I will upload pics as soon as it gets here.

The funny thing is, the Borla Stinger Cat-Back and K&N Aircharger I ordered from CorvetteGarage.com will actually show up before my Vette:laughing:

Congrats. That is a special kinda thing. I witnessed my last one being born and drove it off the line. What an awesome day.
That must have been amazing! Probably one of the best days of your life, no doubt!

I wish I could have done the NCM delivery option, but I was stuck here in Colorado

Congrats on your new girl!
The wait will seem like forever but she'll be worth it.

BTW. Great color choice.

Richard, I just looked at your photos and noticed your temporary tags expired July 7th 2005... those things last exactly two months right? So I guess that means your car was 'born' on May 7th too?? Small world, haha:D

On the inside of my door panel, there is writing that says Performin' Norman and has the date. I wonder how that got there?

Here it comes thru final inspection.

There I go driving it off to the rollers.

Here is a link to all the pics taken on the line. http://performin.homeip.net/Normspage/C6Z06.html

Close! My girl was born on May 12th. I bought the car through Rick Cont (thanks again Rick) for pickup at NCM on June 6th and my temporary tags were good for a month.

I read both of your stories - GREAT to read! Thanks belatedly for sharing those with us. I'll definitely consider museum delivery and of course Rick "Corvette" Conti when it comes time to buy, if I get "purchasing" (aka, my wife's) approval for a new one.:D

I bet you can't wait. I know the feeling. I ordered my '99 Hugger Orange SS in March of '99 and got her in June!!! They weren't even sure they were going to build it!!! ANTICIPATION!!!?!?!!?
Anyways, congrats on the purchase and good luck with her. :partyon:
