Hello, well, over in the UK, 'vettes are some what rare.
I have a stock 2004 C.E. convertible
I find a lot of guy's just want to know how badly they just got hammered.
Most of the time I don't even waste the gas.

Yesterday was different,

I was cruising down our local motorway, M62, top down, about 80 ish, by myself,
I come up to this next junction, and see this Honda Civic type R, 2007 model, joins the motorway, at probably 100 mph.
I knew I just had to do him.
Well, I know he is just a 4 banger, but some of the Hondas can be made to run quite quick.
I reeled him in quite easy, The A4 kicking down very nicely, and passed him at about 120 ~ 130 within a few seconds.
Put a few lengths, on him, it wasn't really required because he was well beat.
I slowed up,
I gave him a wave, he passed a nod in my direction, and I took the next exit.

How often do you see other vettes? What's most popular, the C5 I'm guessing?

Hi there,
There are probably more C4's than any other.
You can go a whole year without seeing another 'vette.
I have seen possible 3 C5's on the roads in the last 10 years.
Rare,
I say.

I'm from the UK originally, been in the States for 14 years now, but I've only ever seen one vette while I've been back visiting, a maroon vert, also on the M62. Must be nice to have such a rare car there, I see probably 10 vettes every day here. Good Kill

Thanks for the thumbs up
I consider myself to be very fortunate to own one of Americas finest sports cars.

To be perfectly honest, there are few cars here that you will see to be a match for a good C5.

Perhaps once a month you might get a half-decent run,

One thing I have noticed, and this is very common, is just how quickly the car's infront move over and let you past.

I'm kind of a fan of TVRs, do you actually ever see them on the road?

It's curious, and more than just a little sad, that England who has such a rich history of automotive engineering (e.g., Aston Martin, Lotus, TVR,
Austin Healey, et. al.) and seems so determined to chuck inventive spirit for a frightening nanny state. Sorry to go OT, but cars can get pretty socio-political these days.

That sounds more like a ricer flyby than a race?
