Just thought I would share, I have been building a new motor for mustang and have finally made some decent progress, so I decided to toss on the carb and headers and snap a pic:

Its a 347 Stroker, race balanced and blueprinted, forged rods & pistons AFR heads, etc. It should put out about 460 HP, and pull the Stang to e.t.'s in the low 11's.

AWESOME:thumbsup: .........Even though I drive mostly Vette's now.......I still miss my last 82 GT with it's 420 Windsor stroker and Maxed out TFS heads behind a Tremec 5 speed and 9 inch rear end)..........It's hard to beat the weight of a 2500-2800LB fox body mustang for drag racing........anyway, NICE ENGINE.....Joe:thumbsup:

Thanks for all the comments!

This motor has been quite the challenge, due to all the 'fancy' parts, first the timing cover wouldn't fit with the early model fuel pump eccentric and late model block, so I had to track down a late model eccentric, then my oil pan and oil pick-up didn't fit because of the main support system- so I had to buy a new oil pan, then my SFI balancer wouldn't fit - I had to grind down the edge of the water pump for clearance.

With luck I am going to try to drop it in tomorrow and maybe fire it up Sunday night.
