hey guys.

the shop is building up the engine but they mentioned that my original valve convers won't fit because I'm putting my LT4 Roller Rockers that I got from summit. I'm not looking for anything fancy but something affordable.

do you guys know where I can find some taller valve covers? thanks!

I'm going by the L98 covers but all I had to do to get the 1.6 rockers out of the Hotcam kit to fit was cut down the drip tabs. I can't remember if the LT1's were the same type of cover.

proform from summit have a nice set for center bolt ,black or chrome that are 1/4" taller than stock.

I run Edelbrocks Elite series centerbolt covers with 1.52 roller rockers and had to trim down the bosses the fake allen head bolts fit into.

You shouldn't have to do anything more than cut down the drip tabs on your '95 covers to make them fit. And if your Summit rockers are indeed made by Proform I'd send them back if you still can. Proforms have a nasty habit of falling apart. If you're stuck with them, check them regularly for loose roller tips.

If you buy new valve covers instead of modifying your factory covers, I'd be interested in buying them along with your old heads.
