Right-click to download imagesVisitors to the Museum this fall will get an extra special treat as we welcome 12 Corvairs to our Exhibit Hall.

October 2nd of this year marks the 50th anniversary of the unveiling of America's first massed produced rear engine, air cooled automobile, the Corvair. In recognizing this special time in automotive history the National Corvette Museum will host a 6,000 sq. ft. exhibit solely featuring the Corvair. The Corvair was produced from 1960 through 1969.

The exhibit is included with regular Museum admission and will be on display through December 31.

On my bucket list. I'll be there!

Between 67 and 75, we had seven 65 and 66 CorVair Corsa's. Still have repair parts for complete roadside engine rebuilds and service manuals .........................wish I could find just one of those cars today.

Long before the self destructing Vegas of the 70's, there was the Ralph Nader, road oiler Vairs of the 60's. These were terrific scca solo cars.
