I'm at work and would like to make some spacers for my HD strut rods over lunch or at the end of the day. Does anyone have the dimensions of the stock strut bracket or the bearing housing?

I think the forks on the bearing housing are about 1.75" wide. Not sure on the strut bracket.

TIA!

The strut rod bracket, inside the channel where the struts attach is 1.84. I'm getting 1.67 inside on the other end.

perfect! thanks fellas.

What about the distance between the stops for the cam bolt? Gotta make the rectangular plate to fit in there and hold the inner bolt in place as well...

1,750 inches! :surprised

I didn't think the whole rear of the car was that wide! :lookinup: Crazy Europeans and your commas. Us close minded US folk get all confused. :laughing:

Seriously though, thanks again. My last day at this job is Thursday, so I've gotta get this project wrapped up while I can!

1.860" = 1 7/8" & a couple zips on the grinding wheel.

1.680" = 1 5/8" plus a washer, or 1 1/2" plus two or three thicker washers.

Beer can shims as needed for correct tolerances.

Yor welkom,
