Need help and advice [LT1 in a Boat]

Hey guys.....don't bash me too bad for this. I have a boat with a 1998 LT1 vette engine. When I was winterizing the boat I sprayed oil in the cylinders. Here's the problem.....the little red straw on the WD40 can fell into a cylinder:thud:  . Any thoughts on what will happen if I start the engine? OR...any thoughts on how to get it out WITHOUT head removal. Please comment.....Thanks
Hey Pat and Dan....no smart remarks:laughing: or Mike or Ivan:laughing:

You could go to sears and buy this tool that is made to grasp things by pressing down a push button of sorts with your thumb as you hold the tool in your hand, it has little fingers that spread out, so that when its at the tube you want to retrieve, you just let go with your thumb and it will grasp the red spray tube. Or spin the engine over slowly by hand till the piston reaches the top of its travel and try to grab it with twezzers or something of that nature. I cant say for sure if it will hurt anything at all, but should atleast try to get it out of there, but it would probably just get ate up and spit out the exhaust since its just plastic.

Tools r Us ...part # Ou812 extend-able plastic magnetic straw remover..$19.95...

I just could not resist. I really tried
I have dropped a lot of things in an engine but never one of them...I would hate to say it would not hurt any thing. Just as soon as I did some thing would happen. It could jam a valve open or melt in to a ball and jam a plug. I would say you might pull the plugs and turn the engine over to see if you could blow it out. If you can't the cost of gaskets to pull the head is cheap insurance....
