There is more to exhaust than how it sounds from the outside. Best way to check out is to find a show and hear it in person. If you do a lot of touring interior drone and noise on cruise is a consideration.

Here are some clips of my Corsa Sports with Kooks and Hi-Flow CATS. My car has a 403 Lingenfelter motor but is still quiet when I want to cruise. You be the judge on whether it roars at WOT

Yes if you get headers you will need to replace the OEM Cats. OEM CATS are close to the exhaust Manifold and LT headers the CATS will be under the car.

Yes but not much. Leaving them off makes a huge difference.

depends what you want from the car, With corsas it will be loud at hard accelerations but quiet at cruise, with the BB it will be loud, very loud and it might become anoying.

I thought having a loud exhaust was cool, on my camaro i made straight pipes that exited on the side, prolly the loudest one could go w/o long tubes it just got old, sure people could hear me form 5 blocks away, and i could pop flames out with a high rpm downshift, but people would run scared at the local outdoor mall, and i couldnt har the person next to me while driving (might be beneficial if your married)

yeah im not sure yet as of now id liek some thing loud and deep and i also like that poping sound when you down **** my cuzzin has a 05 c6 a4 z51 with borla stingers and he has a nice poping sound when he throws it in low and lets it coast but the borla just dont do it for me not deep enough and not loud enough so then i fiugred bb bullets but now i herd with the headers and man it sounds good but im not sure how much that will cost and with out cats might be a hassle to ever take it to a dealer ship might have to put them on and take off the mods so im confused

its alright to have questions thats why theres a forum. The exhaust system will run you about $1000, kooks headers are like $800 and LG are something like $1100. Both come catted or offroad. I would ask you dealership and see what they think about mods, just a simple "so whats you take on performance mods" and let them talk. if you get a tune (actually its recomended to get a tune after long tubes) oyu can have your tuner turn off your rear o2 sensors (what would be turning you check engine light due to no cats) with the rear set off you wont throw any codes and you will pass emissions as long as there isnt a visual inspection (usually isnt but make sure) Because your having the tune done i would recomend and air intake in the mix so you have have everything tuned once and save money. I hope this helps, if you have any questions PM me.
