Have any of you body off guys run your new engines before the body and etc. went back on ? I have had my LS3 for several years now and if I'm being real, the completion of my build isn't quite "near term" yet. I'm close to finishing my exhaust and running my final fuel line. Other than the fact that the radiator / cooling system mounts to the body is there something else that stands in my way ? It's fuel injected and I have all the required electronics.

What's the minimum I need to do for cooling ?

Make it run on the C3 Frame.
The Chevy & Pontiac musclecar guys do it all the time.

An old car frame makes an excellent test engine stand.
It can not flip over from Reverse Engine torque snapping WOT back to idle.

Hey Maniacmechanic1, thanks for responding. This board has been really quiet this winter. Still hoping folks will chime in regarding the min cooling system requirements to fire up my new iron (well aluminum). I've seen some YouTube stuff that was good for a laugh (garden hose stuck in a hole) but I'd really prefer not to have to gin something up with my radiator.

Suggestions guys ?

You can use your Corvette Radiator with an electric fan for safety to your hands.
A full size CK Truck 454 radiator is a 4-core unit. Make a good test stand radiator.
