My new wheels are in. John knocked them out quick:thumbsup:

They are 18x10 Front and 18x11 rear.

I am looking at Toyo RA-1 or R-888 for tires but I have a big selection with the 18" rears.

Hidden Marks

The interesting thing is John at CCW is putting little CNC signiture marks on his wheels now. He has tucked away in a couple of places. I guess he wants to be able to trace any casting back to his wheel.

These wheel are surprisingly light. I will try to weigh them before they are mounted.

I have have a lead on a set of "take off" Brembos from someone who is upgrading to the new 6 piston Gran Turisimo Brembos. They have only been used on the street and look to be in good shape. I would powder coat black of course and have them rebuilt.

I pulled the trigger on tires

Not being able to fit 12 inch rims has limted my choice compared to the Z06s. Toyo RA-1s were eliminated here.

I am going with

315/30ZR18 Yokohama ADVAN A048 Medium Hard Compound Rear
285/30ZR18 Yokohama ADVAN A048 Medium Hard Compound Front

I eliminated the R-888 because they were too soft and would wear out before my next track date. These recommend shaving for the track so by the next track date they should be perfect.

I hope this is a good comprimise daily driver and track tire.

Caps are on the way. The machining on these wheels is incredible. These things are light. Tires are Yoko ADVAN A048.

Rides much smoother than the run flats. I will get the G-tech out of I have time tomorrow but it feels quicker. We will see how they wear.

Thanks. They really make the car handle different. The 18inch rears give me more traction coming out of the corner and the 285 fronts seem to keep it in balance. I am anxious for my next track day. Caps shld be in this week.
