try using "mother's aluminum polish" on your tail lenses. they'll come out looking better than new. it will remove fine scratches from them as well.

No kidding? Hmm.... must have a REALLY mild abrasive in it.

not only does it do a good job on the lenses, but it's made my stock aluminum rims look like chrome. i used an orbital buffer when i did them. of all the polish i've tried, mother's is the best.

Yep, mothers is a good polish, never tried it on my lenses tho.
