Well you guys i finally did it, i used the nitrous (75 shhot) on my car and it was so cool:partyon: So i asked my frriend if he wanted to go test it out last friday and he was excited to see how it ran. I did not know what to expect so i was excited as much as he was. So i gun it and after about 3000 rpm i flip the switch, the car pushes me further into my seat and i had the biggest smile on my face after the first run:D . I went back for a second run on the on ramp ( its about 1/2 mile) and i see a evo getting on so i punch it he took off before me but i was on his bumper in a matter of seconds. The nitrous was worth every penney.:partyon:

if you think a 75hp shot of giggle gas in a semi-stock engine is nice, that way... youll never believe what a 250hp shot does too a 383 thats been totally designed for its use, will do!
slap a cam designed to maximize the nitrous in an all forged & full roller 383 an its a huge grin, when you hit the button.....or at least untill the driveline starts twisting off a few parts! (which it does occasionally):laughing:

wow 250hp, thats crazy, well ill probably want to with 150 shot when i rebuild my engine

Glad it all worked out for ya..........there's nothing like the 'Instant" (seat of the pants)torque gain from the bottle:thumbsup: .......and 250 shots,(while very healthy, and common) feel real good........But go for a ride in a properly set-up engine and car that runs a 500+ HP direct port fogger, and you'll see crazy:D .........Joe:thumbsup:

Good to hear! I've always thought about adding nitrous to my car, but the bottle takes up too much space in my hatch for other stuff I'm always hauling.

Re-read Grump's post. Then read it again.

The engine was built and cammed correctly for 'juice'. Stock units just don't live very long on juice or forced induction.

My drag car, like Grump's, is built for exactly that: racing and it has the best of everything and yet I am told if I want it to live a normal life span to not exceed a 150 shot with regularity. They also recommended a 250 max but on a very limited basis.

Being dumb and greedy I run it just on the engine. I am the type to blow it up from power greed.

That is called respecting the potential for a problem. You would probably do just fine with it with a respectful mindset for the potential for nasties with juice.
