I know people ask for opinions about different tires and their performance, just wanted to voice my opinion about these tires. I've had their drag radials in the past and loved them.

Now, I have (for the last year) a full set of the 555 tires and absolutely love them, what a great tire.

I drive my Vette year round, through snow and everything else. In snow, they suck as does every other high performance tire. But, when I finally get off of snow packed streets, they ROCK. In rain or on wet streets, I can still leave from a dead stop fairly aggressive with little to no wheel spin.

I've only had GY GSC's on my Vette and the wet traction difference is night and day for me. I'm far more confident in wet weather now, then in the past.

I'll be replacing this set, when the time comes, with a new set. I'm very happy with these tires.

Tim, thanks for the write-up.

I'm going to be due for a new set of skins before the Stars and Stripes tour. I can't imagine my drag radials would have lasted that long.

Where can you get the regular 555 nittos? I need a new set of fronts.. (275/40)

The tires came with my rims when I bought them last year so, not sure where the guy got them from.

I did find a web site with them and I think Tire Rack also sells them, but I'm not positive on that one.
