I had a lot of ignition type interference to my radio, so I bought and installed an MSD supressor that wires to the 6A unit box. When I started the 72 the radio sound was nice and clear. I figured I had the problem solved. But when I put the air cleaner back on, the interference was back. Take the air cleaner off, and the radio sounds ok.
Now what? Carbon fiber air cleaner? There has to be a reasonable answer.

I grounded the air cleaner (with alligator clipped wire) to the frame...most of the noise is gone:excited: :excited:

now I'll make a copper/ soldered wire gizmo to insert between the upper and lower lids and it should be ok:excited: :excited: :excited: :cheers:
