Of all the cars you've ever owned, which one do you wish you still had. Either for performance, value or sentiment. Makes no difference.

Mine would be the '69 Charger R/T (440, column shifter, bench seat)

My current car is the best I have ever known. 2000 silver Corvette Coupe Automatic trans.
When you start off with your coolest car, it's easy. My first was a brand slap new 1964 Falcon, 170 cubic inch 6 with 3 on-the-tree. Not even a Futura. I guess it was the same underneath as the "New" Mustang. The Mustang was built off the Falcon platform.

You have had better cars than me
I'm just a bit older and have alwaus been a car nut.

1960 Bugeye Sprite (948 cc Racecar)
1963 Impala SS (Used)
1964 Falcon (Dad bought my first car)
1967 Fairlane 500 2 Door hardtop (New)
1967 Alfa Duetto Spider (Used)
1974 Alfa GTV Quadrafoglio
1968 TR-250 (Used)
1967 Porsche 911S (Used street then taken racing)
1970 Triumph Spitfire (Used then racing. 1296 cc racecar))
1974 Lotus Europa (Street and Autocross. My first twin-cam engine build) Big valve Cosworth engine making about 240 HP. Twin 45 DCOE Weber carbs. Not a lot of horsepower but it weighed about 1500 pounds and was really, really fast.

Alexis Formula Ford (Autocrossing)
1958 Mini 850 cc (0-60 didn't need a stopwatch.....just a calendar)
Jag XJ6 (Street and then blew up)
Fiat Brava (Street and really sucked)
1990 Eagle Talon tsi AWD and my first play with the engine turbo)
1974 BMW 2002 tii (First started playing with fuel injection. It's not changed much since then)
1974 Dodge B200 Van (Made into a hippey/camper van)

That's a start of a list. Wow. I haven't thought about that in a long time. Wish I still had some of them.

That's an impressive list. I bet that Lotus was a lot of fun to drive.
With 21-8-13 racing slicks on an autocross it would really stick. It would pull a front wheel off the ground in a hard corner. You kind of fell into it and when getting out the sidewalk and hands were involved. I'm not sure I could get my butt into it today and even if I did it would have to be my coffin because I'd never be able to get out.

I would say my old 49 Mercury, from my high school days.
Excellent car and has history. Sam Barris, one of the biggest customizers back in the day, created the first ever "Lead Sled" from a '49 Mercury. Love the look.

1968 TR-250 (Used)
Me

1968 Triumph TR6
You

I wasn't aware that they sold the TR250 and the TR6 the same year. I had to Google that. I hope it's a lack of knowledge thing and not an old age memory thing. My recollection is that the TR250 was a test bed of sorts for the TR6 running gear and interior. I love the way that car squatted on takeoff. Made you feel special. GT6 also had a cool squat.

You're car people too, I see except for the Cricket..

I remember this morning How Fast Sean's 1970-1/2 Camaro was with its Factory LT-1 SBC.
Turbo 400.
3.73 gears in the 12-bolt diff.
It could hookup on Street M+S rated 60 series tires .

He got beat by a 426 Hemi in A 1969 Charger 1 night Street Racing.
Pretty much a Pro Stock Hemi.

The title of this thread is all the cars that you've owned. Let's not ass it up by turning this into a "my buddy had" thread with a bunch of drag race specs. Don't care about 3.73 gears or Pro Stock Hemis…...unless you've owned one.

The title of the thread.
1973 Lincoln Mark IV 2-dr Continental with a Ford 460 4bbl.
A huge tank.
It was pretty fast.
Set the cruise at 100 -120 mph on Route 80 going to Joliet.
Still have it.
Sitting elsewhere.

Handled terrible in emergency cornering.
So Heavy of a car.
Main frame horn right behind the front wheels is almost 11 inches deep.
Why they rode so nice.
I used to race stock 5.0 Mustangs & beat them with the Big Lincoln.
The Rim Blow horn was kinda neat.
Doors closed like a Bank Vault.
So much steel everywhere.

GM never built a car like it.
