Aside from Z Frank and Acorn Tire, I was wondering if there were any reputable places you guys living in Chicago take your vettes for an oil change. I used to go to Sharp Chevrolet in Skokie(since I could blow time in Old Orchard), just now discovering its an abandoned husk...

I go to Ogden Chevy in Westmont. Excellent service and their dealership is full of Vettes. Ask for Louis or Henry and tell them Shawn sent you.

Sorry bojvette, its a 2000(same color as sjaction's in fact )...I just assumed since I'm looking for a Corvette certified oil change(and I'm posting in the C5 section), that it didn't matter the year, only that they indeed work on vettes.

sjaction, I was hoping to find one in Chicago proper. There are tons of places around, but there are quite far away or in neighborhoods I dont wish to go to. Ultimately I'll end up a Z Frank, I was just wondering if there were smaller places like Acorn Tire that may be certified and IN Chicago that I don't know about.

theres an Acorn tire on lincoln and peterson. I went to Jennings chevy on waukegan and golf but the idiots didnt use a puck on one of the lift arms so ive got me a nice lil crack on the rocker panel...

I am also interested in competant chicago area delaers for service, i vow to never go somewhere unless its something i cant handle like pulling the engine or tranny, but if something dose happen who can i trust?

Bro i live in skokie! where are you at? where do you usuallydrive around? I like to hit up lake street, golf road, sheridan road, edens, lakecook road, the 53 and the 90, and milwakee way up north were it intersects with the skokie highway

Oil Change

Unfortunately it is pretty hard to find a chevy dealer within the city limits that is trust worthy with our babies. So far it seems that everyone has places in suburbs, which isnt that bad since it gives you another excuse to take a nice drive. But my maintenance place is also Ogden in westmont, and i live in the city but still drive there. Patrick also told me about Al @ Brakes plus but I havent had a chance to use their services, but I know he speaks highly of them.:thumbsup:
