Hello all,
Does anyone know what could be the problem leading to an oil leak along this area? It’s not actually leaving any drips on the floor that I can see (laying down fresh cardboard each time I take the car out). But the entire ”seam“ appears to bet wet and oil colored.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Everything looks new. If no obvious leaks, just keep an eye on it from time to time. Keep the cardboard in place for piece of mind until convinced there is no leak.

Thanks. The car is a 2007 but only has 1235 miles on it. It sat for a long time and only started occasionally. I’m just concerned about damaged seals and such.

That area is in all likelihood is a rear main seal but not 100% could be rear of the oil pan gasket. Like Norm said I would not loose sleep over it until you see oil on the floor or smell burnt oil when driving.
Mine has the same damp spot on the oil pan and have had no issues in the five years I’ve had it. Playing the wait and see approach.
