If your talking about the rear main seal for the crank shaft, that is a common failure. as for book time I am not shure what they get.. I don't really know what the seal costs but I would think it's pretty cheap... I know it's alot of labor the trans has to be removed and it depends on if it's auto or manual it will be more for stick..darrellwest said:HI guys
I have a 94 coupe and it is leaking from the rear seal do anybody
know what it will cost to fix the leak?
I had a leaky intake on my 96, but it wasn't so much of an issue as it was ugly.Switch said:I was sure I had a rear seal leak and pulled the engine when I did the HotCam install. It turned out to be the rear of the intake.
It was a good excuse to put in a 3000 stall converter while it was out.
