I still wonder about the big flat back end.

 I think the front grill will grow on me; if not aftermarket.

:partyon: :D
Assuming the grille makes it to production, AND assuming it bolts in, whip out that ratchet set and go to town! :D

Oh, and I love the car. I can't wait to have a 2005 in about 2008!

It's okay. Not great yet but okay. By the time the new Z06 version comes out I'll probably be in love again

I think that when you see the rear in person, it will appear much smaller than the C5's. Why? Because ...
1. That gray skirt at the bottom makes the height of the rear appear to be smaller than it really is.
2. The top edge of the endura bumper is not just a horizontal line as it is with the C5, but is broken into several angles at the CHMBL.
3. The surface of the rear is also broken up by several horizontal lines. The top most section is very similar to the early C4s, then below the lights the angle change should visually break up appearance. Also, the horizontal two lines for the license plate with angled sides make that area less of an island in the ocean of butt.
4. It looks from the pics that the rear, looking down from the top, is more round than the C5. This curve should also contribute to the appearance of a reduction in butt.

I like it! The C5 took me years to warm to and I still don't want one, the C6 is :smokin:

I'm still going to have to get used to the new headlights but, it looks like a nice Vette overall. And the report HP numbers sound really GOOD!

my first post

this is my first post but have been watching the forum many months...the new pics are definitely worth posting about! anyway, i think the new body is muscular enough and in line with the heritage....except for the headlights....WHY ARE VIPER HEADLIGHTS SITTING ON A CORVETTE?

Overall I think it's a nice upgrade to an already great design platform (C5). I love the edgier lines of the fenders and the rear is growing on me, but the front looks too much like a Stealth for my taste, too little from the front speaks "Corvette" to me. My $.02 for the day.

The interior on the other hand...................What happened there Mr. Hill????????

Happy Holidays

I like it considerably LESS than I did after viewing the San Francisco shots. The headlights look too big to me. I hate the slot style door handles, the chunck of plastic on the rear end looks ridiculous and the rear looks too C4 ish. It's nice that the curves are more apparent, but I think they lost the "sleekness" that make's the C5 look more exotic. That said, I'll probably love it when I see it in person in Chicago. :D

As of now I think that it looks just good, but there isn't a doubt in my mind that when I see it in person I'll think it's great. The Z06 version should make it classic.

I love the car overall but there are a couple things I don't like. I might have to get in touch with Todd on lowering the sucker because it does have a 4x4 stance.

I like everything except those headlights. Looking at the front of the car just doesn't say "Vette!!" to me. Maybe it will grow on me in time but I already miss the old Vette standard.....pop-ups.

The stock HP numbers are great though! Maybe when the Z06 version is introduced, we all will have warmed up to the styling.
