Yeah bro, it was actually scary for a moment how a car could do this.:lookinup:now just wait till onstar takes over the car and kidnaps you:laughing: .....

I have it on the Trailblazer, they email me once a month.Nice. So do you have to select a time of day for the daily diagnostic check? And what if you are parked in the garage at that time, can it still communicate with your car?
Bigger question is how can OnStar be disabled? Is there a fuse or harness than can be pulled? After my initial free trial is over that thing is gone.In Australia On Star is used to issue speeding tickets, hmm.
It is being selectively tested for this purpose in Canada, hmm.
You get old like me and you get paranoid - - but you are not, how to put this, tracked by On Star (which they totally deny). Five fingers and one is for On Star.
Wanna test it call in and ask a question while driving and ask them if they can tell you how fast you are going and you will not get a straight answer - - try it.
I'm only using it for the first free months, or whatever the offer is when you buy a new car.Bigger question is how can OnStar be disabled? Is there a fuse or harness than can be pulled? After my initial free trial is over that thing is gone.
It's free for the first year. Just because you don't have an active subscription doesn't mean the system can't be tracked. I'll try pulling the fuse one mine is up.I'm only using it for the first free months, or whatever the offer is when you buy a new car.
I would assume if you don't pay for the OnStar subscription, you dont get the functions/services.
