I haven't seen any links to this on here. Looks like the VH-1 staff had some fun with the Vettes before they were put out to pasture.

If I don't miss my guess Mr. Cahill is a registered member here. I'll see if I can find the thread where he recounts locating and buying all of the Corvettes.Maybe someone should try to track down Jim Cahill. I'm sure VH-1 would love to do some kind of "Where are they now" special. Or how about they have the same contest 20 something years later and save the cars.

Here's a page with all 20 posts he's made on this forum. I didn't read all of them right now but like I said previously I'm pretty sure he tells the story of locating, buying and then driving each Vette home before the drawing was held.Maybe someone should try to track down Jim Cahill. Great posts! Maybe there's some hope for these cars as my '71 LT-1 convertible started right up after 10 years of sitting (stored with a cover). The brakes are another issue...Try this, go to the link below. Post #6 is by Jim. Click on his username and select "Find more posts by Jim Cahill". This will direct you to a page that has all 20 of his posts on it.

If that doesn't work or you need any more help lemme know. I agree that what Peter Max has done and is doing with these cars is a travesty. Wish there was something he would let us, the Corvette community do.
