I have the long version of this post in ECM fourm ,cant shift from 4th to 5th over 100mph must slow down to shift ,can shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd to fourth any speed or rpm I want ,but cant do 4 to 5 over 100 anyone know why ,this problem only shows up at the track for reasons which are all to obvious

Hope someone can help me with this or at least get me looking in right area for solution Thank you

road course or drag strip...either way, why go into (5) ? You should be able to go well over 100 in (4) no problem. I hit 120+ at the track in (3). I know this doesn't help, sorry. Could be a glitch or solenoid.

You are completely correct ,it was the mosport road course and i stayed in 4th
was not an issue for running the track just dont know why car is doing this ,i could understand if i was pushing high rpms ,but i am not ,would like to ask dealer to look at it but I know i am going to get that confused look ,when i took the car out of paddle shift at the bottom of the back strait it ran through the gears in s mode no problem . Thanks anyway for your response
