New here and I gotta say great site! I'm getting ready to buy a C6 and was wondering what you all thought of the paddle shift. Cant decide between auto and manual and thought the paddle might be a good option.
Thanks!

Hi smhog, welcome to the site.....The paddles are great but it isn't like driving a 6 speed manual. I prefer the paddles over the manual but that's just me.It is also the reason I didn't buy an 05....I believe it is a good compromise between the 2 (manual and automatic)

Around Salina. I can't hardly wait to get a C6, I've always wanted one and the wait is almost over. I have to say that I am leanig towards the manual.

Probably a stupid question but is there anybody in the area that rents them. I am certain that I wouldnt be dissapointed in the car but would like to drive one before I buy one.

I love it, you can stay in gear untill a little before redline. I also have a 6spd Celica GT-S in my garage, and that's a pain to drive around in Florida Traffic so the 6AT is welcome.

You can still have the same feeling with the 6AT paddle transmission as you do with a stick, but it is entirely not the same lacking a clutch to depress.
