So Al, what do you think with the cam setup in now?
Good to know... in case I see Al hopping in with his fire suit on.
Patrick gave you the numbers. It sounds awesome, nothing like winding the
LT5 to 7700 RPM and begging for more.
I will have the car on A DYNO to tune in the next couple weeks, but first
I am going to build A transmission cross member for the car.
It makes so much torque that the shifter actually hits the floor of the center
council. The torque that the car makes is way too much for the inferior
piece of **** C-beam design that chevy developed for the car.
Granted for the stock motor it was alright, but you would think that
the designers would make something durable like A cross member and
support the pinion at the pinion so you don't break it.
The vipers run the DANA 44 as well, you should see the how they have
theirs set-up.The differential has A rear cover just like any C-4 and
they also have the pinion mount to keep the differential from coming
up and twisting.I have broken two DANA 44 Carriers I think that's enough.
AL.
