ok here is my problem,i have a 84 and while idleing it will (with crossfire cover off) it will idle fine and then all of a sudden it will momentarly stop spraying
fuel for like half a second, and then spray again and idle fine. also when iam driving it will sometimes do the same,while driving down the road you can feel it kinda just lose power like its doing the same thing it does at idle.


some one please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the injectors need to be checked or the wiring to the injector connectors.

fuel pump

I have a C4 all original, except for the fuel pump. It seems to be the weak link of the C4. you never know when it will let you down. One time it won't start, and an hour later it starts like nothing was wrong. Dies at the light, but starts up and goes. I replaced mine with a GM unit, but if it happens again I am going after market. I estamate in about 6 mounths.

fuel problem

sometimes you can have a blockage in the fuel injector where it would block the fuel from spraying into the manifold,but I wouldnt think it would do that in both injectors.Have you checked the fuel pressure,or changed the fuel filter? Have you used any fuel injecton cleaner ?

put a fuel pressure gauge on an see if the fuel supply is falling off, that will cut the list of ''suspects'' in half.

being efficient (not lazy like my wife sez i am) i would first put a ''known good'' ignition module in the distributor and see if the prob gets out of dodge (chev)...brief ''drop-outs'' are the first sign of failure of distrib ign modules.

btw, i carry a spare module & tools to change in my cars, exc my lt1 roaddie which carries a spare opti-crap in the trunk.
