title is missleading though....i prefer pop-ups on the vette..but i'm pretty sure they will be fixed on the C6

I dont like pop-up air brake headlamps.
Ive seen very few popups that I like... most only pop up about an inch and have high power projectors fitted (180SXs with 'sleepy eye' conversions)

Personally, I prefer fixed lights. They save weight and energy and improve aerodynamics. As long as they are tastefully done, I think fixed lights will benefit the C6.

I Like the flip up lights from a styling perspective as they differentiate the vette from other cars. I do however like the fixed lights on the lambo's and ferrari's. If chevy's does them they need to look aggressive and expensive (with xenon etc) or they will look cheap. I like the headlights in the new S-Class mercedes nicely done. Let's hope for a $60K car looking headlight assembly on the C6. Another thing to consider is that everyone will want to steal a nice fixed headlamp and they need to be designed as "hard to seal" or useless when stolen.

I prefer the pop up head lights on these newer vettes. I think the new vette looks too much like a Dodge Viper and if they use the fixed head lights it will make them look even more similar. Don't get me wrong i love the look of the new vette but i think it would have beeb best if they had suck with the pop up head lights. I think it gives the vette its own look.:thumbsup:

I think pop-ups are ugly - so much so that I delay turning them on until way past dusk. They are, however, great for entertaining kids when following a school bus.
