So sad, can't even get a gt3 to do anything anymore. Beat down too many times I guess. A mouthed "nice car" and a wave is just so sad from a 100k plus car owner....

So when your upset you dont own a 08, with all that extra HP and TRQ, keep in mind it really doesn't matter how many more feet ahead you would be in an 08, your already in something so fast they don't even want to try anymore.

The Porsche was never meant to be a drag race car. Try this on a road course at a DR event. Thats when things get a lot more interesting. At the PCA events you'll run into the real enthusiasts and not the dorks with more money than brains.

but I love My Vette and it will still smoke almost anything I'll come up

against. and I'm shopping for headers as we (I) speak!

I Have the GSA X-pipe & Catback (borla I think, could be corsa) will I be able

to get headers to fit the X-Pipe I wonder??? anyone know?

There will always be a faster, newer model. Just simple bolt ons, reflash and improving intake air temp can give you the 30 hp + the '08s make. Yeah, then the '08 guys can get 25 more...but the '10s will come out with 30 more than that, blah, blah, blah...:nuts: I'm with you: I love my Vette, too. It will go over 190, get to 100 in well below 10 seconds and looks great while doing it. The grass is always greener...:buhbye:

Life has been so boring since we got the Z06 I have had to start track racing. I guess its a good thing, but my lawyer is making a lot less money.:laughing:

Plus the Z has way too much power to even think about getting on it on the street.
