Why the switch from the 2005 to the 2007? I did the same thing. My 05 was an automatic and I wanted a Z51 manual.

i had the 05 and was at a dealer here in town for a corvette rally and I was looking at the new ones 06's and a salesman asked me if i wanted mine appraised. i told him i only had it for 9 months and it had 12500 miles on it but i let him appraise it. they gave me on trade 800 more than i paid for it so i traded it on the spot for a 06 2lt with paddlse shifters. it was a freak deal, anyways thats why i traded. but i have to tell you i like the 05 steering wheel better.
