I have a question about my 99 Vert. Its equipped with LS1 (same as all 99's). The other day I finally found my PVC valve and it has a metal clip on it that is grounded to the block with a very heavy gage wire. I have never seen one grounded like that. What would be the reason for grounding it? Is there anything special about this PVC valve that requires it to be grounded? Thanks in advance for any info on this subject.
Zig.

Does it look like a factory grounding wire or could it be something that a previous owner had installed. There is a harness attached to the PVC tube. It is the throttle position sensor wiring

I found an answer on another forum. It is nothing but a support ( kind of bracket) for the PVC valve:huh: GM never seas to amaze me with the way they do things at times.
Thanks for the replies.
