I am considering a full set of QA1 single adjustable shocks for my '79. I have a VB&P 400# monospring in the rear which really improved the ride, combined with some run of the mill shocks. I have a 383 stroker with a 5 speed manual transmission. I use the car on the street and occasionally, the strip. Are the QA1's worth the extra money?

Summit sells the QA1's for $139.95 each. :surprised Has anyone found a better price?

I had QA1's but could not get them to fit with the adjustment knob on the side (it interfered with the control arm).

I have Bilstiens on my 77 with a 9 leaf steel rear spring and the car rides as good as my wife's Infinity G-35 sedan!:partyon:
