i was wondering if anybody has done this coversion yet converting the coupe to targa or speedster as they would call ....any info would be appreciated ...1992 vette

I've never seen one in person before. Just in the catalogs, I did a search and found this pic. It just looks kind of weird...the lines don't match the C4 body.

The top panel is an integral part of the body structure and adds a lot of rigidity to the car. (try driving around over a rough road with the panel off). If you start taking away the top you're going to have to add a LOT of bracing to the frame.
