I have seen write ups on Raising the diff. But could not find them.
I know that you remove the bushing, but what do you do to hold it in place after that? Will it stay put without sliding around?

you need to have some kind of bushing in the crossmember. I tried modifying the stock bushings to allow them to sit lower. I ditched that plan and machined a solid aluminum bushing that fit in. unfortunately I don’t have the dimensions anymore. It is easier to cut the section where the diff bolts to and raise that mounting surface while using stock bushings and the reinforcement plates that the various vendors sell. (I did this too on another crossmember but raised it too high at the time)

If you look in my build post I show how I raised my differential. I don't know the page its on but it is around the frame mods. I go into detail, the link is at the bottom.
