I know other 06 owners who have had their roofs replaced have complained about a squeak eminating from the rear hatch. My car sounds like a 1989 Caprice with 250K miles on it thanks to this g'damn squeak! Anyway, I've gone through the car and found that the cause of the squeak is in fact poor alignment of the hatch! One side sits more snug then the other, allowing the "looser" side to move up and down more causing the rubber gasket to squeak. If lower the adjustment rubber bolts all the way down, the hatch no longer moves, the squeaks stop, but the hatch sits out of alignment from the rest of the body panels. So the only alternative here is to play with the adjustment of the hatch itself. So my question is this: does anyone have any instructions for squaring the hatch alignment?

Many thanks,
