Has anyone ever installed a removable window in a 74 or like model? If so was it hard to do?

Step 1. take masking take and put large "X" in center or rear window

Step 2. put on safety glasses

Step 3. strike "X" sharply with very large hammer

Step 4. clean up broken glass

Congratulations you have now removed your rear window

:rolling: :rolling:

Sorry, couldn't pass that up.

It's not old enough to need "Depends". Therefore, it HAS to be marking territory. It's really doing it on purpose. Just to piss you off.

Done it on 2 1973's that I have owned. There is a post over at CF on how to do it. If needed I can sent you some pictures and a quick write up if you can locate it over
there'.

I have been thinking about using plexiglass for the window. Drill it for hinges (hinges not determined yet) and hinge it either out (lay on rear deck) or in and have it fold up under the rear deck. Use some thick blub seals with a latch at the top. I would love to do this without using '69 window parts.

Gotta be a way!

remove

I’ve already got the window out of my 75. I’d like to make it a removable rear window; I have no A/C. I’ll have to go look for that thread.

From your avatar, it's looking like a rear window should be way, way down on your list of things you need..:rolling:
