Having trouble getting the pistons disconnected. I see a large phillips screw which I believe anchors the piston to the glass mount, but I cannot get a large screwdriver to it due to the piston obstructing access. I can get a smaller screwdriver partially there, but the screw is too tight to turn and I don't want to strip it.
Also, I was surprised to see a lack of connector in the wires to the third brakelight. Geuss I'll just cut them and resolder later?
The pistons should are held on by clips to the mounts on the window. They should just pop off.
Now, As far as the third brake light! Don't cut, (I can't find my service manual, its in the garage somewhere.. ) there should be a connector if you unscrew and remove the halo molding, in the interior.
If I were u I would get it done professionally because our rear windows are pretty expensive, Trust Me.... and if anything happens they would be held responsible. LOL
