I'm going to be replacing the wiper motor/control board assy on my 91. I have the helms manual but I was wondering if there is anything I should be aware of or any tips to make it go smoothly?
I don't know how yours differs from mine (I have an 87) but I needed to remove mine awhile back is it's a tough spot to work in. The hardest part is wiggling it out of it's little hole. Make sure to remove the wiper arm from the motor before you unbolt it so the motor won't be moving around while you fight with the arm in that little space.
Good luck.
