OK, I"m sure I will get grilled for this, but I can't resist. I think everyone needs to put some serious thought into what a C3 Ricer build would be. Mine is noted below.

1. Lambo doors
2. Carbon fiber Supra hood, with some fitment work
3. RX-8 wankle motor
4. Carbon fiber dash, bezel and console
5. The matching 5-speed manual from the RX-8
6. Darkest tint on the windows
7. LCD monitors mounted in the back of each seat, so the ppl in the back seat can watch DVD's.
8. 1,000 CD disk changer mounted where the spare tire used to be.
9. NOPI guy stickers on the back window
10. NOPI guy doll hanging from rear view mirror.
11. NOPI bikini contest winner towed behind me on a 'bling' chain.
12. Oh yeah, can't forget the water bubble decals on my metalic hot pink paint job.
13. 10" fart muffler and 30" spinner wheels
14. Dodge Daytona wing on the back for a spoiler (to put some 'muscle' back into it).

I was thinking more along these lines.

Hot pink neon lights in and under the car.

Playstation3 and Xbox 360 (so I can play while I drive)

10" X 10" rims that stick out so far you can see all of the tread

Conversion to drum brakes (painted yellow of course)

Shogun body kit for an Eagle talon (heavily customized to fit)

Wire mesh on everything.

32" Subwoofer (in place of the spare tire)

Fake blow off valve to make an ignorant amount of noise.

Completely non-functional, non-adjustable table top spoiler

Headrest screens so the people in the car behind me can watch porn

Every yellow "type R" or "type S" sticker I can find.

Not to be a buzz kill, my 2 cents is that we shouldn't classify what folks should or shouldn't do to their Vettes.

Let's face it, people have all kinds of tastes... look at the George Barris C3's... and the Corvette Summer c3. I look at a Corvette as a canvas for personalization, I could never keep one stock. I might really dislike what someone does to their Vette and think it's ridiculous, but it's hardly bad for the hobby.

What will come of things if folks don't dare to be different? There would be no new trends... we'd see the same rehashed **** all the time. The hobby wouldn't move forward.

My thoughts are do what you want, I don't have to like it... but it shouldn't keep someone from doing it. But some people are so worried about what other people think, they won't do stuff to their cars they want to for fear of getting called "a ricer". I think that's a bit sad.
