Ron Fellows 1/24 Scale Model

OK, I've found the company who's distributing these, and I talked directly to their manager of sales. The problem for those of us that have an RF car is that they can't get you your own number because it would involve opening the packaging, which "devalues" model cars for some collectors.

So, I've bought one anyway (which I suppose has a one-in-399 chance of being my number) with the intention of trying to trade it online for my number, which is 300. Worst case scenario is that I have one with the "wrong" number.

I'd suggest that others do the same and post to this thread for the purpose of trading.

Since the distributor is not a forum sponsor, I'm not posting their website. PM me if you want it. Here is their description of the model:

Only 399 of the 2007 Arctic White Ron Fellows Z06 Special Edition Corvette will be made available to Corvette enthusiasts. We have produced only 399 of the 2007 Ron Fellows Z06 Corvette in the 1/24th scale with a metal chassis. Each piece is consecutively numbered on the Ron Fellows Z06 Corvette chassis. This striking Arctic White Z06 features all of the same great style as the original Corvette. It also features opening hood, trunk, and doors to show off the two toned Ebony and Red interior. The engine compartment is also nicely detailed.

will it only be produced in 1/24 no 1/18 or 1/43:huh: :(
I order mine from the NCM store. It is due to arrive on Wednesday according to the UPS tracking info.
It is going next to a picture I have with Ron and our club group standing by his car at the Corvette Coral in St .Pete. Fl for the Gran Prix. We all signed the picture and sent it to him. Our club member that was in charge of coral also cent him 11 copy’s for Ron to sign and returned to him to give to each of us. If you have ever had the privilege to meet Ron, then you know of great he is and easy to talk with.
Too bad GM did not have the forsight to work a deal with the model manufacturer, allowing the title owner the first shot at purchasing the model. I imagine we'll see many of these on Ebay "calling out" for the production car owner to place a bid....
Speaking of the RF edition, I wonder if the next C6R from Autoart will be the white Ron Fellows edition. That would be sweet. Based on this initial thread, I wonder if AA will release the stock RF Z06 edition in 1:18th scale.
My buddy ordered 2 should be delivered this week.

He owns RF # 151 if anyone gets it please let me know he would love to have it.

I just receive mine from the NCM. Number 100
RF Model

I don't understand why they put Chevrolet on the windshild vice Corvette like the real car. I have 2 models I just got from the NCM - numbers 67 and 312. If anyone gets 258 I'd love to swap so I can have the same model as my RF Z. Thanks.
Looking for Ron Fellows diecast 182

I am looking for the greenlight 1:24 model diecast #182 please email me at [email protected] if you know of or if anyone has it. I would love to have one that matches my car
I have #204 and I'm looking for #308 to match my car.
Bill
I have 212, I am looking for #353.
Does anyone know if any of the RF models are still available for purchase?

I have #148 (full scale), and looking for one of the scale models.
You can get a 1:24 or 1:64 scale model, but they are not the original metal chassis units that had a run of only 399 units. The new ones have a plastic chassis.
Still worthwhile though if you don't have one.
Bill

I'm looking for the diecast model #168 and I've got model #285.
I have numbers 368 371 383 If the owners of these real ones wants to trade please let me know. My Z06 is Atomic Orange so I got the three Ron Fellows for my Grandsons and don't care about the number as long as it's from the first limited release. Two have the replacement decal for the windshield but have not been changed.

Here is RF #258 in 1:18 scale. It started life as the Velocity Yellow Hotwheels Z06 and was transformed for a good friend and fellow DC crew member who owns the real thing. I really like the "427" emblems on the hood and the "JAKE" C6R decal on the rear glass.
