ok all you master corvette owners,i posted a ? in reference to roof panels for a 1984 corvette.i have the cc-3 option(glass roof) on my vette,but i want a solid roof panel.my question is will other year corvette tops fit mine,ie 1986.i saw one on ebay and i am not sure if it will fit.i have burned up this computor looking all over the web for part number for this roof panel,and cant seem to find it anywhere.rpo number and part number would be appericated,and also interchange information would help:lookinup:as always save the wave kenney 1984 god bless our troops

Most of the bigger Corvette parts vendors have a retro-fit kit that allows the install of a 89-96 roof panel to fit the 84-88. It looks like the 84-86E panels have the same bolt pattern. 86L-88 have another and the 89-96 have yet another bolt pattern. HTH.
