Have a 383 motor that I have TPI on. Has a Dicky Scoggens vortec intake. Edlebrock runners and modified plenum. Have an FAST efi computer. Motor is very sluggish and acting like a blown head gasket. Nothing has changed on the tune. It just started doing this last week. Compression is perfect. Timing is good. Got plenty of fuel pressure.
Had similar problem 3 months ago and was the intake. Leaked all over the place on the runners. Cost me a fortune to have it fixed. Just didn’t have the time to do it then.
I’m thinking of either going back to carb or changing the intake to the stealth ram.
Thoughts!!

Plug all vacuum ports at the intake and test again........

Can't tell you how many times I've seen an undiscovered vacuum leak on Corvettes cause serious driveability issues.

Spraying around the intake with starting fluid can also help to pinpoint a leak. If the rpm's go up the intake is sucking air.

Just an old man's $0.02

Don't go back to carb. The TPI's run so good when they are set up correctly
