It is a '94 to '98. Are you sure it is a Cobra and not a GT? Not that it matters that much. Most of the Cobras in the '90s are under 300 hp.
The rear bumper had COBRA embossed and it had snakes instead of horses. Of course, all that can be swapped...but thats what it had.It is a '94 to '98. Are you sure it is a Cobra and not a GT? Not that it matters that much. Most of the Cobras in the '90s are under 300 hp.
Thanks. I must admit, I used to street race quite a bit, especially when I was younger, but alot of the "kill vids" aren't even really street racing, what skill does it take to go from a 50-70MPH roll and push down the accelerator?I've always gotten junk from road racers that drag racing is for the unskilled, but last night there was a sports car club at the track(auto x'ers and road racers) and no one did worth a diddley. Some of these You Tube legends( in their own minds) would see the light(tail lights, that is ) at a track, be it strip or road course. Thanks again for the compliments and yes, I'm older and wiser and I leave those big, nasty tickets for the import and [email protected]$$ crowd to get now and take mine to the track:thumbsup:He was definitely having trouble at the light. Not that it was going to make a diff in the run. But could have got him in the 12's. Nice to see a kill on the strip and not the street. keep up the safe racing.
He said he dyno'd at 520 to the wheels. The set up looked nice, the blower was much larger than the unit I used in my 2000 TA from procharger. The blower wasn't his only mods, but the most noticable one.He mentioned that he upgraded his fuel system, programming and exhaust. That looks to be an older model. Even with a supercharger he most likely didn't put out more than about 375 at the best. If you listen closely it sounds like he was having belt slip.
L92/L76(heads/intake) combo, mild cam, LG headers and tune . Stock exhaust and tires.whats done to your vet?
That is torque management, my friend.....the better you hook, the worse it'll be from a hard launch, no matter if you tune or not, alot of it still is embedded into the programming. I'm gonna try the gradual technique next time at the track, it's good for a tenth off the 60 ft from what other have told me.Evilways after watching your video from you taking off on your launch your car takes off kinda slow like my car does with no spinning of the rear tires are you flooring it right away or gradualy taking off than flooring it. I just feel these autos should be alot stronger off the line especially with the mods and power that we have.My car is a slug coming off the line but from any roll it runs great.
Without a driver, the car wouldn't have moved at all.......That was 98 cobra with a really bad driver. He was alseep on the line...
