I just finished putting new foam and covers on my frames. Beautiful and looks like I had it done. YouTube is such a great source of step by step videos that made it easy to do....
(Corvette America has a fine video.)
The issue I have is the backs, a few scuffs and scratches but it great condition.
Has anyone painted this plastic successfully?
I'm just doing all I can to get it right.....I can use as is but want them nice and black.
Any help?

Nice job. Go to an automotive paint supply store and check with them. The dyes for plastics are pretty good now

Thanks for the input! I've found the dye as advised here and I'm impressed with the results. Hard to see the difference here but it's really nice. Thanks again....

Very happy with this method. I didn't spray it like paint, I sprayed it on a rag and wiped it on and really rubbed it in good ...... I used the shoulder seatbelt cover for practice (as it seems to be the same type of plastic) and I will post photos of the backs when I can.

Thanks for this solid lead Torch!

Ok this one is done......(thanks again for the assist here. )
All new hardware and screws, even a new chrome button.
As I put this back together I'm using brand new correct screws.(bought the package of interior screws)
I just need to shine up the stainless strap, I just didn't see it this way when I had it apart but it's an ez fix.
