seat hoops
good morning, i am trying to locate some seat hoops that i saw in a vette going down the freeway. the hoops had what seemed to be leds on each leg of the hoop. the center legs were tied into the brake lights and the outside were tied into the turn signals. i have tried west and east coast vette with no help. has anyone seen these and if so who makes and carries them. thanks for any help on this matter.

thanks for responding to my post tom-slick, these are the hoops i saw however the ones i saw had leds lights in them for added turnsignals and brake lights. i have talked to a couple of vette shops and they have not heard of them. guess i will need to make a jig to get accurate drilling and make my own. when i get them done i will try to post pictures ( if i can fiqure out how to get them displayed here. i have never tried it and basically know how to get on the web and still dumb to getting pictures to the computer) thanks again

For some reason I remember seeing the new Pace Car convertible having lights in the seat hoops...have you looked up photos of that model?

those are some neat looking hoops and as you said a steep price tag. the ones i saw had leds drilled into the bar and not with a mounted light housing. i have ordered the standard chrome hoops and when i get them i will do my own customizing i guess. i am thinking of a dual element led ( red element for brakes and orange or yellow for turn signals. i will repost with pictures when i get the project done. thanks for all replies.

Well it sounds like your going to have a pretty sweet set of hoops when you are done. Can't wait to see how they turn out...good luck.
